Affordable Alaska Salmon Fishing Guides

We offer guided fishing trips for King Salmon on the Gulkana River at an affordable price.  Our guided fishing trips leave from and return to the private Gulkana River RV Park located right on the river, 5 miles north of the Gulkana bridge.  Our King trips also include a 2 night stay in our park and the use of a river front RV space, just steps from the river.  The park has over 750 feet of private shoreline and has easy access to the river.  We offer more than any other guide on the Gulkana River, and we offer it for less.  For only $195 per person, two person minimum, you can enjoy three days and two nights in our beautiful park.  That is not a misprint.  For only $195 per person, you can arrive at our park the day before your trip and bank fish our private shoreline.  Fishing for all other species is allowed through the summer.  No need to wake up early.  Our boats leave from our private launching ramp, just steps from your camping space.  We provide fishing gear, bait, bottled water and an ice chest for your use.  Bring your own food, drinks and waders.  At the end our your trip, you are returned to our park.  You will have the rest of the day and the next morning to bank fish or just enjoy our park.  We allow you to have up to two non-fishing guests stay on your site.  Non-fishing guests are not allowed to fish from the shoreline.  Only one RV and one tow vehicle per site.  Check our competition and you will see the only comparable King fishing packages are at least three times our price.  Before considering inferior trips that may be close to our price, check out our Why Us? page.  Even if you don't want or need the camping site, our easy access to the river and jet boat still makes our guided trips the best deal on the river, or for that matter, the best guided salmon fishing trip in Alaska.  Call today!

The Gulkana River RV Park

We have added a jet powered 8 inflatable boat that will allow us to go directly from our park to the best fishing holes and then back to our park.*

Our new  jet powered inflatable boat will make our guided fishing trips better that ever.*  The two free nights included with our King Salmon guided fishing trips will allow you to arrive at our park the day before and stay over night.  No need to wake up in the middle of the night because you will be just steps from our launching ramp.  Our experienced guide will take you right to the best fishing holes, both up river and down river from our park.  At the end of the trip, you will be returned to our launching ramp, just steps from your RV, tent, or vehicle.  You can spend the rest of the day fishing from the bank or exploring our 155 acre park.

The map on the left shows the location of our RV Park and you can see the part of the river our guides fish.  Our new jet powered inflatable boat gives us complete access to the section of the Gulkana River close to our park.  Our King guides can go both down stream and up stream to get to the best fishing holes.*  At the end of your trip, the guide will return to the parks launching ramp.

King Salmon Guides
Our trips leave from the Gulkana River RV Park located about 3 miles north of the Gakona junction at mile marker 132 on the Richardson Hwy.  The RV Park is private and only the owners, permit holders and guests are allowed in the Park.  Our King Salmon guided fishing trips include 2 nights stay in our Park in a river front RV space. 

The 2007 season was great for king salmon on the Gulkana River.  Many of our guests were able to catch their limit from the private 750 foot shoreline of our RV Park.  Our guided fishing trips include two night in a river front RV space in our park. 



 

Sockeye Salmon
After the King season ends on the 19th of July, we offer Sockeye salmon guided fishing trips.  The 2007 season saw a three fold increase in the number of Sockeye salmon over the four year average for the Gulkana River.
